Spring is here and Earth Day is near
The trees are budding, flowers are blooming and new grass is sprouting. With Earth Day just around the corner, this a great time to welcome a little more green into your life!
To help you start your own team for Earth Day, we’ve put together an Earth Day toolkit which gives you all the pieces you need to get people excited about joining your EcoAction Team.
And maybe all this talk of budding, blooming life will get your creativity flowing. Help us find a new name for the EcoAction Teams program by participating in our “What’s in a Name” contest. Read on to learn how you can get involved.
Yours truly,
The “team”

New direction, new name
The EcoAction Teams program is shaking things up! We recently updated our program mission and website to reflect a new program direction:
To be the source of practical, culturally relevant and economically-viable solutions that help Canadians improve their well-being and quality of life while lessening their impact on the environment.
With a new direction, we feel a new name is in order. So we’re asking you, our supporters, What’s in a name? Submit your ideas for a new program name by April 30 and you’ll be entered to win one of three Earth Day Canada t-shirts or a copy of Thomas M. Kostigen’s The Green Blue Book.
