It’s Getting Hot in Here!

Caught in the act ... of treeplanting!

Wow, is it the end of July already? The last few months have been busy but very exciting for us!

Last Earth Day, we announced new partnerships with the Town of Oakville and The City of Kitchener who are busy integrating the ecoaction calculator into their sustainability plans...

We’ve been plotting out our new eco action website which will include more tools and means to connect to a broader community - including a French language version of the ecoaction calculator (c’est vrai!). Stay tuned or contact us to find out more.

And if that weren’t enough, we joined the province of Alberta, the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association and the City of Airdrie in creating a province-wide Community EcoAction Challenge. The challenge got people committing to personal environmental action and inspired a little competitive fire...

But no need to live in Alberta, you can start your own challenge! Invite people to join you in taking ‘eco-action’ right now. Start a team on the EcoAction Calculator and mobilize your friends, family or your coworkers to reduce their environmental footprints.

Now on with the hot summer days! It’s easy to have a fun-filled summer while reducing your impact on the environment (and your pocket book). Read on to learn how to keep things green in the heat...
