• Calgary is the largest city in Alberta, fifth largest city in Canada after Toronto, Montréal, Vancouver and Ottawa.
• Calgary created an online « EcoFootprint Exchange » which helps residents search for information and programs in the city to reduce your ecological footprint. The EcoAction Teams calculator has been added to this online toolkit.
• The city recognizes environnmental achievement with awards in advanced technology, management, conservation, protection, enhancement, education, stewardship, and promotion of the city's environment.

This program identifies the simple actions they can take that will reduce their EcoFootprint.”
