Alberta Environment’s One Simple Act program and Earth Day Canada are in the second year of a partnership that encourages Albertans to challenge themselves to simple actions that promote waste reduction, water conservation and energy efficiency.

Last year, Alberta Environment created a workplace challenge using the EcoAction Calculator. The inter-departmental challenge was a huge success with 15 teams created and over 200 people took part!

Along with promoting the EcoAction Calculator, One Simple Act has many other tools, tips and contests for Albertans, including resources for work, home, communities and schools. Since its launch in the spring of 2008, One Simple Act has engaged over 50 000 Albertans.
